About The Teacher

I have been teaching for 27 years. I especially love 1st grade, because I 
get to teach children to read. I am married to Jerry Howell. He is a rural 
postman. We have two sons. Jerod is 24 yrs. old and is married to Lindsey.  
Jordan, our younger son  is 21 yrs. old. He is a Junior at UT Martin. 
Then, there is the baby of the family, Rowdy. He is our 8 yr. old red 
poodle.This year, we had a very special addition, a grandson! He was born on 
July 15th. He is such a joy. We attend First Baptist Church in Martin. I 
love to teach!
