About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
I am originally from Dyer, Tennessee and attended Dyer Schools. I graduated with honors from Gibson County High School in 1992. I am a 1996 graduate of Lambuth University and received my masters from Bethel College in 2001. This is my twelfth and a half year to teach at Medina Elementary School. I did my student teaching here in the fall of 1996 under Teresa Oakley in fourth grade and Theressa Key in kindergarten and was hired on January 3, 1997 as a second grade teacher. I taught first grade one year and second grade for eleven and a half. I am married to Eric Dyer, my college sweetheart, and we are the proud parents of Madison Annabeth(10), a fifth grader, James "Harrison"(7), a second grader, and we are expecting our third child, a little boy, in December. We live in Humboldt currently, but are planning to move to Medina soon. My hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, and smocking.
