About The Teacher
Hi! My name is Mrs. Melody! I was born a long time ago in Kansas. I have also lived in Missouri and Arkansas. I married Mark Kirkpatrick 20 years ago. We have two awesome boys: Andrew is a junior at GCHS. Nathan is in 7th grade at Dyer School. We live in Dyer, Tennessee. I went to college in Missouri and received my degree in Music. I added education requirements and starting teaching music in public schools in 2003. I taught 3 years in Arkansas (K-12) before we moved here.

Mission
I'm so excited to teach students the love and appreciation of music. We will participate in many musical activities to learn our state standards for music. I expect everyone to make this a great year!
