I graduated from Gleason High School. After graduation, I attended Jackson
State Community College and David Lipscomb on a basketball scholarship. I
earned my B.S. Degree at David Lipscomb and then continued on to Memphis
State University where I completed my Master’s Degree in Administration and
Supervision. I also have 30+ hours from Cumberland College and Tennessee
State. I have taught Health, P. E., and coached basketball at Jackson State
Community College, Beech Bluff High School, and Jackson Central Merry. I
started as principal at Medina School in 1980. At that time our school
served grades K – 8. I also coached boy’s and girl’s junior high
basketball.
I am married to Sandra and we have two children, Bryan and Rebecca,
a daughter-in-law, Kari, and a granddaughter Addyson Grace. We also have
three dogs Maddie, Manning, and Dixie Belle.
My personal goal for our school is that Medina Elementary would be a school
where everyone is someone special and that each student receives a quality
education.
