important skill for your child to master!

is bringing dried berries (Raisins, cranberries, cherries, etc)

Reading:
Continue to practice our “popcorn” words. Also, we will be studying the
letter “i” again this week. We will be teaching children to associate the
letter “i” with the letter sound “/i/” like in the word igloo. Have your
child tell you the sound the letter “i” makes. Ask him or her to list things
that begin with the “i” sound.
We are also reading words that contain the letters that we have been studying.
Please help your child practice “sounding out” and reading these words at home.

In Math, we are continuing to learn the numbers 6-10. Please practice these
at home. Your child should be able to write these numbers and match them to
their corresponding amounts.
