Homework

                November 30- December 4
This week we will read Honey Bees.  We will focus on the long e spelled with 
ee and final e and 2 syllable vccv words.  Words to read quickly are:  we, 
feel, these, sweet, Pete, step, he, keep, weed, tree, she, ten, week, Steve, 
me, kitten, insect, napkin, happen, object, pretzel, rabbits, invent, 
trumpet, pencil, until, problem, basket, attic, & travel.  See other 
newsletter for amazing/ vocabulary words to use and know meanings for.  We 
will also sequence, compare and contrast, talk about animals and habitats, 
natural resources, use nouns in sentences, identifying odd and even numbers 
and how to add 2 to each, telling time, and place value.  
Don’t forget the Christmas lunch reservations are due WITH MONEY by Friday, 
December 4th.  Report cards go home today- please sign and return tomorrow.  
Also, if you can help the PTO with any of the events this month, please sign 
and return the paper from them.  
We will dismiss Friday at 11:30.  If you child goes home a different way, I 
MUST have a note.  Santa’s gift shop opens next week so don’t forget to send 
money for this.  As of now, our times are Monday and Thursday from 9-9:30.
Monday- Sign and return report card.  Read Honey Bees and study words and 
definitions.  Math B.  
Tuesday- Honey Bees and study words and definitions.  Math B.  DR 23.  Wear 
tennis shoes for PE tomorrow.  
Wednesday- Honey Bees and study words and definitions. 
Thursday- Honey Bees and study words and definitions.  Math B.  DR 24.  Don’t 
forget tomorrow is a half day and Christmas reservations are due tomorrow as
