Hi! My name is Mrs. Jenny and I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I
have taught 18 of those years in kindergarten and this is my third year to
teach Pre-K. I was born in Mayfield, KY and grew up and went to school in
Graves Co. Schools in KY. I graduated from Murray State University with a
Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my Pre-K endorsement
at Union University.
I am married to Kevin Yates. I have 2 daughters (Sarah, 20 years old a
graduate of GCHS and Arnold's Beauty School and Rachel, 17 a senior at GCHS)
and 2 stepchilden(Ashley, age 16-a junior at OCCHS and Tyler, age 14 in 8th
grade in Obion Co.).
I love reading, traveling and spending time with my children and extended
family in KY and of course, teaching young children!
The Gibson County Special School District Medina Preschool offers a safe and
stable learning environment to all children. We serve the children with a
qualified and caring staff that provides quality instruction. We strive to
provide an appropriate early childhood learning environment for all
children. We seek to teach all children through a multicultural hands on
curriculum stressing academic excellence and social interaction.
