Please refer to the Homework Folder that is sent home at the beginning of
the week. A list of assignments for the week, a list of phonics words, and
a list of reading high frequency and amazing words should be in the folder
each week. If one of these is missing or needs to be replaced, please
contact me as soon as possible. If you have any questions, email me or
write a note in your child's planner. Keep the homework folder in the
backpack so that we can use the word lists for classroom activities.
Homework Policy: I check homework on Fridays. If your child has incomplete
or missing homework assignments, he/she will complete homework during
classtime or recess. I will replace assignments that are missing. Your
child will have to the end of the day to finish the assignment. If she/he
doesn't complete the work, the work will be sent home to finish over the
weekend. The work will be due Monday and points will be deducted for late
work.
If your child is sick, he/she will be given an extra day to complete
assignments. If circumstances beyond your control prevent work from being
turned on time, please send a note.
