I am so proud to be back at Medina Elementary School! I attended Medina
Elementary and loved every minute of it. I want to create the same learning
experience for your child.
I graduated from Gibson County High School in 2002. I recieved my Bachelor's
Degree in Human Learning K-6 in 2006 from the University of Tennessee at
Martin. In 2007 I attended Union University and received my Pre-K
endorsement. I completed my Master's Degree in Education at Union
University in August 2008.
My husband, Zac, and I married in May 2008. He is a farmer. We live in
Humboldt on the family farm with our dogs Mia and Cooper. We have one
daughter, Lilly Jane, who was born in September.
I have known since I was very young that I wanted to become a teacher. I
would play school every afternoon. I had the smartest babydolls in the
neighborhood! I have a passion for teaching young children and love coming
to school just as much as the children do. I know that we will have a great
year of learning and fun together! Thanks for sharing your
child with me.
Play is learning at its best. If you can get their hands in it, you can get
their heads in it.
We must see that every child has equal opportunity, not to become equal, but
to become different- to realize the unique potential he or she possesses.
