English assignments are divided into three main categories.
Tests 40%
Daily (includes classwork, quizzes, and projects) 40%
Homework 20%
Homework must be turned in during the class period in which it is due.
Students who return to their lockers to get homework after class begins will
receive a check in their Fun Friday folder.
Students who do not complete homework will receive a zero if a grade is given
that day.
If homework is for completion only, students who do not have it will receive
a check in their Fun Friday folder.
Students who are absent have two days for each day missed to complete any
missed assignments. Any work that is not made up will result in zeros.
It is the student's responsibility to get this work to the teacher before the
deadline.
