| Social Studies: All students will receive or copy notes and board questions
for each unit taught. Students' grades will consist of daily grades, pop
quizzes, tests and project assignments.
Notes: Students will be tested over notes given in class. All notes are
to be kept in the student's Social Studies binder.
Daily Assignments: Definitons will be assigned as needed. Students
will receive a daily grade for these definitions. They are
to be found in the back of their textbook. Students do not
take these definitions out of their notebook. Maps will be
drawn,labeled and colored.
Pop Quiz: Students will be tested as needed.
Tests: Tests are assigned in advanced. Student will have notes and
board questions to study.
Projects: Major projects are assigned once a six weeks. Minor projects
are assigned as needed. Parents will receive full instructions
with a notification slip to sign.
Newspapers: Students are to read, watch or listen to the news each 6
weeks.
