THE TIME CAPSULE is the best book I've ever read. Most books by Lurlene
McDainel are sad and make you cry, as is this one. THE TIME CAPSULE is about
twins and one of them has cancer. There is a touch of love, and it's a book
that any teen girl would adore.

MY OWN WORST ENEMY by Carol Sonenklar
This is a five star book for all girls who feel different from everyone
else. A girl named Eve speaks out against "normal girls" and how
stereotyping isn't good. Her parents complain she needs to be more "normal"
while her true self is hidden. All the time her Dad is Mr. Mom and the house
is filthy because he is to busy with his construction work to clean it. I
really related to Eve about the way she feels about "normal" girls and peer
pressure. This book is a must read for anyone who has ever felt like they
don't fit in.

SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR by Lurlene McDaniel
This would be an inspiring book for many. I would recommend it to anyone who
likes to read about diseases, friendships and romances. I wish that every
girl would read this amazing book!!

THE WEE FREE MEN by Terry Pratchett
This book is about a girl named Tiffany, who wants to be a witch. She meets
little six inch high men called Nac Mac Feegle. They tell her of a queen who
has taken her brother. She then goes on a mission to Fairyland where nothing
is real. To see where the journey takes you, you will need to read the book.

THE LOTTERY ROSE by Irene Hunt
This book is about a little boy named George. He is seven and a half years
old. He has a mother and a step-dad. His mother is an alcoholic and his
stepdad abuses him. He has a friend named Ms.Sims, a cashier at the local
market. She is very nice to him and even gave him a lottery ticket. The
next Saturday he went to the market and discovered he had won the lottery!
Read to find out what he had won.

DON'T HURT LAURIE by Willo Davis Roberts
If you like sad stories you should read this one. I loved it. In fact when
I read it I cried. It is about Anabell the mom and Laurie the child.
Anabell abuses Laurie. Laurie has been in the hospital so much the nurses
remember her. When Anabell has a car wreck Laurie lives with friends and
becomes best friends with a stray dog.
