Goals of the PTO Label
Goals of the PTO
1. Ban Boring Meetings. We will respect your time by sticking to a set starting and ending time for all meetings. We will provide childcare and cookies at meetings so that you can enjoy a break from life's hectic pace. We will bring a spirit of enthusiasm and encouragement instead of drudgery and duty. 2. Put the FUN in fundraising. We will not nickel and dime you with multiple requests for money throughout the school year. We will organize high-quality, low-quantity fundraisers to raise the most money possible with the least amount of projects. We will try to give you a good return on your investment. 3. Equip families through guest speakers. As a part of our 'no boring meetings' commitment, we will feature a keynote speaker at each meeting. Topics will be things that strengthen our familes, like study skills, nutrition and safety. 4. Improve communiation, connection and community. We will kick off the school year with a Ice Cream Social so that you can meet the new principal. We will publish a school newspaper and sell subscriptions for a two-fold benefit of raising money and staying connected.
