D.A.R.E.

WELCOME DEPUTY CLARK

Mrs. Oakley's class would like to
welcome Deputy Dwayne Clark from
the Gibson County Sheriff's
Department. Deputy Clark will be
conducting our D.A.R.E. classes
through December. In the
D.A.R.E. classes, we are learning
about resisting drugs, the
D.A.R.E. model for decision
making, and ways we can become
productive citizens of our world.

DARE To Be A Role Model!

It is so important for young
students to have positive role
models in their lives. Mrs.
Oakley's class was very fortunate
to have two excellent role models
visit their DARE class on October
25th. Students at Gibson County
High School must submit an
application to be DARE role
models and must be evaluated by
their teachers. Justin Rea and
Jordan Teddleton were VERY highly
recommended by their teachers and
were personally selected by
Deputy Clark to visit our class.
Thank you Justin and Jordan for
encouraging our class to stay
drug free and DARE to make the
right choices!
