Math
We will be reviewing with problems at the back of the book this week and next week. Students may also complete challenge problems to increase their math average as desired.
Practice problems for this week: All of lessons 52, 53, 58, 64 and 65 found on pages 575-.
Challenge problems for this week:  All of lessons 104, 107, 110, and 112 found on pages 579-581.

Reading

Read chapters 12-Afterword in Number the Stars and answer the questions on the handout.  All tests will be given on Thursday, because Friday is field day.  This means that our ten spelling words will also be the only words on the vocabulary test.  Study vocabulary (definitions will be given on Monday). 

Vocabulary words are listed under spelling.

Science

 

No homework. (We will be doing experiments this week.)

Social Studies

Follow the instructions to complete the timeline sheet.

Grammar

 

Complete the preposition practice page.

Spelling

Write-off spelling words 3 times each.

Use each spelling word in a sentence.  Use context clues to show that you understand what the word means.
