I have been teaching with this school system for eleven years. I taught
eight
years of Kindergarten and this is my fourth year to teach fourth grade. I
enjoy the rewards of teaching others and am blessed with two children
of my own. Outside of school I stay pretty active by going to events with
my children, giving piano lessons, and attending church. Some of my hobbies
are playing the piano, swimming, bicycling and reading.
I have a positive attitude and strongly believe that all children can
succeed. My mission is to provide a caring, yet structured environment,
that facilitates learning on all levels. My overall goal as a teacher is to
teach the grade level standards to the best of my ability while accomodating
the needs of my individual students. My overall goal for my students is for
them to learn as much as possible within the year and maintain a desire for
more knowledge in the future. In other words, my mission for my class is to
have the best year possible!
