--------------------------------------
Why do the students have to wear specific P.E. clothes?
•It promotes Good Hygiene.
•It helps our students become responsible.
•Each student is required to dress-out in our P.E. classes.
•The students are required to wear certain clothes - a different set of
clothes than what the student wore to school.
--------------------------------------
Will we do POWER 90?
Maybe/ Not Sure - after Winter Break, for one six weeks.
--------------------------------------
Do I have to Have A Doctors' Note?
Yes! Too many students try to get out of physical activity because they just
do not want to do it. If you are too sick to participate then you are too
sick to be at school. The school must have documentation.
--------------------------------------
What if I just don’t feel like exercising?
Please understand that we will do a lot of different activities in P.E. All
students are expected to participate on ALL the days of the month, unless we
have a Dr.’s excuse.
There have been some instances that an athlete is too sick to participate
in P.E. however, they end-up participating in their extracurricular activity
that night.
This is unacceptable. If you can't do the activity during school, you do not
need to participate in the extra activities at night.
--------------------------------------
What if I have asthma?
If a student has exercise induced asthma, we expect the student to have an
inhaler in P.E. or at least in the nurse’s office.
--------------------------------------
Do I get a lock and locker for P.E.?
There is simply not enough lockers to assign each student or pair of
students a locker so no you will not get a lock or locker.
