This week in Reading we are moving on to the next section of Eragon. Because we are finished with the Research Paper Unit we will be picking up the pace on the novel. Students should read through "Master of the Blade" by next Tuesday. There will be 2 handouts to go along with this section that will be due on Tuesday, as well.

In Language Arts we will be reviewing some of the units we studied in the first semester. We will revisit nouns, verbs, and a few other concepts. Then we will move on to the pronoun unit.

Change in late work policy: Due to a recent increase in missing work, there is a change in the grading of late work in my class. Late work turned in one day late will be deducted 50% and work turned in after that will receive 0. Hopefully a more severe consequence will help the students to understand the importance of turning assignments in on time.
