Please visit my website any time you have concerns about your child's 
work. If I have not updated it with the information you are looking for, 
please send me an email. I check it numerous times each day and will get back 
to you as soon as possible.

READING
    If your child is in my Reading class,you will probably get the graded 
papers back on Mondays after tests on Fridays. Please read with your child 
every night and discuss what you read.  This will help him/her develop 
comprehension (understanding what is read) skills. The word lists are on the 
First Grade Information page on this website if you don't see them in your 
child's agenda or if they get lost.

MATH 
     Math these coming weeks will involve a packet with practice sheets that 
covers what we have learned as far as the Math Standards for Tennessee. Every 
week or so your child will bring home a stapled packet with skills practice 
sheets that we have done in the classroom.  If you read the front cover 
sheet, you will know what we have been learning.

Further Math Facts will come home for review with you in the coming days 
and all throughout the school year.
