Homework is to be turned in to the teacher the day after it is assigned and 
it is to be done by the student.

There will be no written homework assigned on Wednesday nights and Friday 
nights, but reading the week's story or booklet may be assigned even on those 
nights.

Spelling, and Reading will be tested on Fridays, so these 
need to be studied DAILY each week. (Ask me for tips on studying for these 
tests if you are not sure.) Your child will read his leveled reader to me and 
some of the Roll and Read sentences. He will be graded on word accuracy and 
as time goes on, fluency.

Please check the agenda and Buckaroo Binder each night for notes,newsletters, 
graded work, and homework.

I try to give very little homework. Please help your child to do the 
homework assigned.  HE OR SHE WILL NEED YOUR HELP!  The students at this age 
are not usually capable of organizing themselves independently.

READ, READ, READ with your child every single day if possible.

READ EVERYTHING!!!
