                     Third Grade Discipline Policy

General Rules:
1. Only have nice things to say
2. Respect others property
3. Listen to each other
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
5. Follow Golden Rule: I will treat others the way I want to be
    treated.
6. Unpack bookbag completely every morning

Good things happen with good behavior:
To encourage appropriate behavior, we will have free time in
class, videos, Fun Friday, being a teacher helper, canteen, and
various other positive awards. Also, positive comments,
certificates, awards, and notes will be given to the students.

Consequences:
1st offense - verbal warning
2nd offense - name on board
3rd offense - check mark by their name and the student will
receive a yellow card. Their star will be taken down, and they
will not receive canteen for that week. The sixth yellow card
will result in assignment to detention. After 8th yellow card
the student will receive Saturday School.

The teacher/administrator reserves the right to impose more
serios consequences for extreme or deviant behavior problems.
This is a classroom discipline plan. We will follow the school
board policy adopted by MSSD that is in your child's agenda.
