
Buses: Bus transportation is a
privilege and not a right of students or parents. A pupil shall become
ineligible for pupil transportation when his/her behavior is such as to cause
dissension on a school bus, or when he/she disobeys state or local rules and
regulations pertaining to pupil transportation.
Any student who leaves the
campus before loading on the bus shall not return to campus to ride the bus. A
student may be suspended from riding the bus if any of the following bus
policies are not observed.
Bus Rules
1. Observe
conduct as in the classroom.
2. Be
courteous
3. Use
no profane language.
4. Do
not eat or drink on the bus.
5. Keep
the bus clean.
6. Cooperate
with the bus driver.
7. Do
not smoke or have tobacco products on the bus.
8. Do
not be destructive.
9. Stay
in your seat.
10.
Keep your head, hands,
and feet inside the bus.
11.
The bus driver is
authorized to assign seats.
12.
No violence
13.
No
balloons on busses, due to safety rules.
14.
Students not getting off
at their usual stop must bring a note for the bus driver or give the bus
driver prior notice.
Consequences for improper
behavior on the bus may result in a verbal/written warning, detention, paddling,
or loss of riding privileges.
