About The Teacher
Carol Parkins graduated from Bethel College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degeree in Psychology. In 1992, she earned her Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In 2002, she completed her Plus 30 Degree in Education from Cumberland University. Ms. Parkins is married to Victor Parkins, and they have two children, Jordan, 22, and Holly, 11. She is in her 20th year at Milan High School and was recently appointed the new college and career access counselor. This new positon is currently in the planning stages, but Ms. Parkins will continue to work with seniors assisting them with scholarships, financial aid, and college and career access. Ms. Lacee Mallard has taken Ms. Parkins place in working with the sophomores.
