How much math do I have to have to be successful?
CAD uses basic mathematics, i.e., multiplication, adding, subtraction, and division. Both Englisn and Metrics are used. Fractions and decimals are studied and implemented. GEometry is a plus.Back to Top
What is Principles of Machining and Manufacturing?
This class teaces the fundamentals of machining; focusing on the major machine groups, i.e. lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welders etc. Safety is a big component of each unit. Product analysis, cost of manufacture, OSHA, competencies, quality and employablity are jsut a few of the items discussed in this class.Back to Top

EAch student starts with simple and works to complex; each day getting more proficient in operations. AT the end of course each student has learned the basics to many procedures.Back to Top
