There will ALWAYS be something for the students to work on at home. If there isn't a specific assignment to complete or a story to read, they can ALWAYS work on updating and perfecting their folder. THE WEEK OF December 14-18, 2009 English 12 B: We will complete a poetry portfolio for the Romantic Period this week. English 12 A: We will study problematic areas of grammar, especially sentence structure. African-American Literature: We will continue reading To Be a Slave by Julius Lester. We will answer questions and discuss the book as we read. We will finish the book and take our test this week.
