Skills USA promotes leadership, community involvement, and encourages civic pride and responsibility. Criminal Justice club members participate in a variety of community service activities, which deals in the development of "public service. "Field trips, fitness challenge courses, and the Jr. Police and Fire Academies offer students on enhanced and unique learning experience. Club members facilitate hands-on activities, which offer rare and perhaps "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunities for students to work with our local professionals. Field trips include: ACES challenge course, general sessions court, Gibson County Correctional Facilities, State of Tennessee Police Training Academy, and Milan Police Department's Driver's Training in-service. Activities include: Mock Crime Scene production, Mock Trial Team competition, Salvation Army drive, toy drive for Milan Fire Department, Jr. Police Academy, and a host of community service projects throughout the year.
