I cannot believe the year is over. We have had such an amazing and unforgettable year. I have truly enjoyed teaching each and every one of my students and will miss them greatly. Thank you parents for allowing me the privilege to have them in my classroom this year. This week, the students will present their play. The play will include: characters, plot, specific time period, conflicts, and etc. They will all have an important role with the play. They will also have a test over Where the Red Fern Grows. Objectives for the week: Theme Plot Diagram (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, & resolution) Characters Time Period Genre - Historical Fiction Conflict Point of View Please encourage your child to read over the summer! Reading is very important because it increases vocabulary and comprehension skills - which are used in every subject. "The best inheritance a parent can give to their children is a few minutes of their time each day."
