Week of August 10 - 14, 2009
We hope to start Math classes on Tuesday, August 11th. Letters have been
sent home to a few students regarding having class with me as their teacher.
If you rec'd one of these letters, please sign and return it asap.
My class will have homework tonight, 8/11/09. They will need to do Lesson 1;
problems 1 - 25.
I will post the rest of this week's assignments tomorrow. :)
*****************************************************************************
Special Note: I don't want any of my math students to work on their
homework for more than 40 - 45 minutes. If you see your student taking
longer than this, please let me know. Also, I recognize that some of the
skills may seem difficult when they are first introduced. Don't get
discouraged! It will get easier and we'll have several opportunities to get
better at it. :)
Please note that some students may be given Reteach Activities as well as
Challengers on various lessons.

Good News! We have help for you from the publisher of their textbook for
those students who are working mostly in the Houghton Mifflin book. The
Saxon 65 book that my class is using, isn't on line. We will, on occasion,
use the Houghton Mifflin book too, so when we do, this website may help.
Check out the publisher's
website for our new Houghton Mifflin textbook @
