About The Teacher
I grew up in Kentucky and married a wonderful man from Tennessee. We have moved around some, but have settled here in Mount Juliet. I got my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Child Development from Georgetown College in Kentucky. I got my Masters in Special Education at UTC. I love teaching. I enjoy working with the children and watching them learn and develop. I taught school before I had children and then took some time off to be with them while they were little. I have three daughters-- Allison, 20, is a junior in college this year at Austin Peay, Emily,16,is a junior at Mt. Juliet High School Caroline ,9 , comes to school with me every day and is in fourth grade I stayed home with the older two and went back to teaching when Emily started Kindergarten. I taught Special Education at Stoner Creek. When Caroline was born I took some time off again. I came to MJE when Caroline started Kindergarten. I am really enjoying being back to teaching. I enjoyed my time at home, but truely love teaching. Caroline and I enjoy coming to school together everyday.
