What does arpeggio mean?
Music Grading Procedure
SATISFACTORY (85-100) - usually participates, uses a good singing
voice, performs appropriate movement, plays instruments
correctly, and obtains Satisfactory on projects and tests.
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT (70-84) - participates only part of the time,
uses an inapporpriate singing voice, performs movement
incorrectly, plays the instruments inappropriately, obtains less
than Satisfactory on projects and tests, or is disruptive during
class.
UNSATISFACTORY (0-69) - participates little or not at all, uses
an inappropriate singing voice, performs movement incorrectly,
plays the instruments inappropriately, obtains Unsatisfactory on
projects and tests, or os disruptive during class.
MJE School Rules - These rules apply in music class.
1. We will watch for the universal quiet sign to be given,
immediately stop talking, and give the speaker our attention.
2. We will walk and remain quiet in all areas of our school.
3. We will keep our hands, feet, objects and unkind words to
ourselves.
4. We will respect and obey all school personnel.
Music Rules
1. We will actively participate in music by listening, singing,
playing instruments, and moving to music at the appropriate time.
2. We will take care of instruments, equipment, and music books.
3. We will be prepared for class with all necessary materials.
4. We will remain seated unless told otherwise.

Consequences
1st offense - warning
2nd offense - time out
3rd offense - note home
Severe Clause - office
Rewards - verbal praise, stickers, good notes home, class treats,
compliment to classroom teacher, music treasure chest
