I am married and have two sons, Ryan and Dillon. I have been teaching for 17
years. I used to live in Miami, Florida before moving to Mt. Juliet in August
2005. Although I lived in Miami for a long time, I went to
college at Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, TN. I loved seeing the beautiful
mountains while I was there and I'm happy to be near them again, sharing them
with my family. I really enjoy teaching and I am thrilled to be teaching
first grade this year. I have previously taught second, third, fourth and
fifth grade. Some of my favorite hobbies include scrapbooking and reading.
The mission for my class is to create an enriching learning environment where
discovery, critical thinking, and creativity are fostered and encouraged.
