B.E.A.R.S. Binders Dear Families, I want to introduce you to your BEARS binder. This is a very important part of my teaching because it is a means of communicating with you! As you may have noticed, BEARS is an acronym for Becoming Efficient and Responsible Students. Your child is required to take this binder home every afternoon and is also responsible for bringing it back to school in the mornings. I will be checking the contents of the binder each morning. Here is how it is organized: Money and Excuse Pouch: please place any lunch money, field trip money, or donation money into this pouch as well as absentee excuses. Calendar for the school year: keep this as a reference for the school year. Daily schedule: this tells you what we will be doing each day and helps you to plan for visits to our classroom. Newsletter: this will be updated monthly Parent communication; This is a section for OUR communication. The other will be for information that you simply need to read. The notebook paper is just to have paper on hand for you to correspond with me personally. Folder for homework: One side will house homework that needs to come back to school and the other will contain all the work that I have checked and can stay at home. The BEARS binder is great way to keep us both organized and encourage communication. It will also encourage responsibility in the students. I have supplied all of the items in the BEARS binder at the beginning of this school year. If any items are lost and damaged during the school year, it will be the responsibility of the family to replace those items.
Or, would you like to view and optionally restore one of these previous versions?
