Discipline Plan My Philosophy: It is my job to teach and the child’s job to learn. Therefore, each child is expected to follow these 5 rules and expectations in order to have a productive classroom environment. Classroom Rules and Expectations: 1. We will listen carefully. 2. We will follow directions. 3. We will work quietly. 4. We will use kind words and respect others. 5. We will work and play safely. Rewards: Verbal Praise, Positive notes home, treats from treat box, free computer time, stickers, etc….. Daily Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior: Green- I had a great day! Yellow- Warning. Blue- Time-out for 5 minutes. Purple-Time-out for 10 minutes. Red- No recess, notify parents. Severe disruption will result in an automatic trip to the pricipal's office. **The mission of Mt. Juliet Elementary is to teach, guide, and challenge all students to achieve their maximum potential.
