After working in the business world for twenty years, I went back to school
to become an elementary school teacher. I received my Master of Arts in
Teaching at Trevecca Nazarene University and this is my first year teaching
kindergarten. I love it!
I am orginally from Louisiana where I received my B.S. in Business from
Louisiana Tech University. I don't have any brothers or sisters, but my
parents and extended family live in Louisiana and Texas. I have a
goddaughter, Savannah, who lives in Mt. Juliet who is 12 years old. She is an
angel and my joy. My personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most
important thing to me.
My favorite hobbies include reading, playing Scrabble, eating out, and as of
August, shopping for our classroom! My goal is to become the best
kindergarten teacher ever!
To establish a warm learning environment in which children will have fun, be
creative, discover and learn lots of new things, and be prepared for First
Grade.
