About The Teacher

Mrs. Wood is the current Builders Club Advisor.  She has been an advisor for 
about 6 years in Tennerssee and 2 years in Florida.  She is also a member of 
the Mt. Juliet Kiwanis Club and a Language Arts teacher at Mt. Juliet Middle 
School.

Mrs. Wood helps students in Builders Club to develop leadership skills and to 
practice the principles of Character Counts.  Her Club last year won 
Distinguished Honors from Kiwanis for the fundraiser and service projects the 
club performed.

Mission For The Class

It is the vision of Builders Club to develop competent, capable, and caring 
leaders through the vehicle of service.  Builders Club in an international 
student-led organization providing its members with opportunities to perform 
service, build character, and develop leadership.  The program provides young 
people ages 10-15 the opportunity to help others, serve their school and 
community, and build a positive future for themselves.  The organization is 
based on the core values of character building, inclusiveness, caring and 
leadership.  Builders Club is a joint effort of Mt. Juliet Middle School and 
Mt. Juliet Kiwanis Club, composed of leading business and professional people
