8/17: The following is classwork that should already be completed:
Vocabulary definitions and Directed Reading Worksheets for Chapter 1,
Sections 1-4. All uncompleted assignments should be finished as
homework. Once we go over the answers to these assignments, they will
no longer be accepted for a grade.
8/19: If you have not completed copying the pre-test onto your index cards,
take them home and finish them. A-day classes should return them on
Friday; B-day classes should return them on Tuesday.
8/21: Test over Chapter 1 (A-day on Monday; B-day on Tuesday). Use your
index cards (should have 50 cards with questions and answers) to study
for this test. You will turn your cards in before taking the test.
Work that was not completed in class on Friday (vocabulary and
Directed Reading worksheets for Chapter 1, section 5) should be
completed as homework and turned in on Monday and Tuesday. (You
should have completed the definitions for all vocabulary in Chapter 1
by now.)

Read Chapter 2, Section 1.
Complete Directed Reading worksheets for Chapter 2, Section 1.
Complete the handout on Taxonomy, Classification, and Dichotomous Keys.

completed. There will be a test over chapter 4 on Friday, October 23 - all
classes. The Study Guide should be turned in before you take the test.
On October 26 and October 27, you will meet in the Computer Lab with Mrs.
Martin instead of coming to science.
10/23: Complete the TCAP Test Preparation section at the end of the
following chapters: 1, 2, 3, and 4 (answers only). This is due on 10/28 (A)
and 10/29 (B).
10/28-10/29: Chapter 5: vocabulary for section 1; read section 1; DRWS
section 1.
10/30: Chapter 5: vocabulary for sections 2 and 3; read sections 2 and 3;
DRWS sections 2 and 3.
11/02: Read chapter 6 and complete vocabulary and DRWS for chapter 6. (A-
day due on Wednesday; B-day due on Thursday.)
11/6: Test over chapters 5/6 (A day on Monday; B day on Tuesday)
11/16: Test over chapter 15 (A day on Wednesday; B day on Thursday)
12/4: Test over chapter 16: Mon., Dec. 7th - A Day; Tue., Dec. 8 - B Day
