What is PAWS

PAWS (Parents At Work for Students) is a Parent-Teacher-Student Organization
that is dedicated to making MJMS a great place for your middle school
student. We do so by involvement and fundraisers that fund needs for our
school and it's teachers.

When do you meet?

PAWS conducts monthly or bi-monthly meetings. All meetings will be announced
via email and on Teacher Web. Because we try to accomodate the needs of
those involved who also have children in extra-curricular activities, we do
not usually set a standard schedule such as "the first Monday of each month".

How is the money for fundraisers used?

100% of the funds raised through the sales of Citipass Books, membership
dues and BoxTops are used for the needs of the school.

I work full time. Can I still be involved?

ABSOLUTELY!!! We need all parents to participate. Being involved in PAWS is
your greatest access to what's going on in your child's school life. You
don't have to be a PAWS officer to be of help. We will ask for volunteers
throughout the school year for various projects.
