Must projects be turned in on the day assigned?
Projects are not like tests or other daily assignments which may be made up on return to school without prior arrangement. Projects are announced well in advance and are due on the date announced or they are considered late. However, a late grade can be avoided by: 1. Turning in the project prior to date if you know you are going to be absent. 2. Project may be turned in by any one you trust to do so, if you are absent. 3. If there is no way possible for you to send it by someone else, a parent may call and verify that you have completed the project and will bring it on your return to class. This call or verification must take place prior to your return to class. If you do not choose to use one of the above mentioned steps, then your project will be counted late. A letter grade will be dropped from the grade given for each day late. (Science folders are considered projects and must be turned in on the day due or they are late).Back to Top
