Attention Students:
Good Luck in 2009! As you begin a new year, remember that new possibilities
and discoveries await you. Make the most of each and every opportunity that
is presented to you, and you will, most assuredly, have a fabulous year!

5th Graders- A new year, a new President, and the closing of this chapter in
your life at Northside are all major events that you will remember when you
look back on this time in your life someday. Thank you for working so hard
and for being examples to our 2nd, 3rd & 4th graders.
This month... review 'Parts of Speech'and 'The Writing Process.'
3rd and 4th Graders- Remember to work on and master your
multiplication facts. If you have a hard time
memorizing your facts, then make up a
silly little rhyme. For example...
"Chicks, chicks- dirty chicks.
6 X 6 is 36."
OR
"She ate and she ate- now she sticks through the door.
8 X 8 is 64."
You MUST know your multiplication facts, so work on
them daily!
2nd Graders- I am so proud of you all and the effort you have made
in learning how to type your 'Home Keys.' Keep
practicing. You are all doing a terrific job, so
keep up the good work!
REMEMBER: Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you're
saying.

***Early Sign-Outs/Tardies- Remember that you must have a note to be excused!
ATTENTION ALL CAR-RIDERS!!!
Just as a reminder, no car-riders may load on the bus pick-up side of the
building. Unless you have an appointment or an emergency, we will ask you to
wait in the pick-up line for your child.
On those occasions when you must walk over to pick up your child, be sure
you
park in the parking lot.
Please do not park on the bus side of the parking lot. THANK YOU!!!
