About The Teacher
I am beginning my 10th year of teaching at Oakdale. I love Math, especially Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. I am part of a new approach to learning this year. I, along with 19 8th graders, are experiencing Algebra 1 via Distance Learning. I have my Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Education. I am highly qualified to teach Middle School Math. I am currently enrolled in Tennessee Tech University to persue my Specialist in Education (EdS) degree. I am the proud mother to Hunter, who turned 1 on September 15th. I enjoy being with family and fiance', Jerry, and his girls, Olivia and Chloe. I stay busy with school and family and would not want it any other way. I am also taking classes towards my EdS in Instructional Leadership through Tennessee Tech University.

The Mission of Oakdale School is to create an environment that challenges students to be responsible, accountable, and productive citizens. The Mission for my classes is to help students succeed. I will do this by providing them with the tools they will need to plan, manage, and measure their success in the classroom and in society. I will provide guidance to individuals who voluntarily seek my assistance, personally and academically. I will encourage and inspire students to reach their full potential.
