2009-2010 will be my 17th year in education. I have two degrees
(Mathematics and History) from Union University, a Masters degree in
History from the University of Memphis, and I am currently working on my
administrative endorsement with Trevecca Nazarene University.
For the 09-10 school year, I will be teaching math at the high school and
helping coach the freshmen football team with the esteemed Todd Lumley.
I live just outside of Trenton by the Gibson County Lake near my parents, Max
and Linda Lancaster. I'm married to Mollie Grace Miller, from
Bethel Springs, and we have four children - three boys (John Davis, Miller,
and Major) and a baby girl (Grace Ann). Mollie teaches Kindergarten at
Trenton Elementary School.
I am also an adjunct history instructor for Dyersburg State Community college
on both their Dyersburg and Trenton campuses.
My mission is three-fold:
1. To be a compassionate, consistent teacher with high expectations for every
student at every level.
2. To attempt to make the basics of Algebra accessible and meaningful for all
students.
3. To differentiate my teaching in order for students at different levels to
become strong learners and communicators.
