** I wanted to say thanks so much to all of the parents who have given so
much to our classroom lately. Thanks to all of you that donated items to
our food box and baby basket for the Fall Festival. Thanks also to all of
the parents who have sent in items for our Halloween party. You make our
classroom and our school more successful!!!
* Wednesday, November 11th-PTO Meeting at 3:30-Remember any parent that
attends earns a Homework Pass for their child.
* We started the Math-a-thon in order to help raise money for St. Jude's
Children's Hospital this week. All donations and completed funbooks are due
in no later than Wednesday, November 18th. Thanks to all of you who allowed
your children to participate.
* Friday, November 20th-Progress Reports go home.
* November Book Orders are due Tuesday, November 24th. Don't forget
that you can now order online if it is more convenient for you.
* Thanksgiving Holiday-There is no school November 25, 26, or 27.
*** Please remember to register at Box Tops for Education and send in your
child's box tops. This is a free and easy way to help our school make money
for needed supplies, improvements, and luxuries. Plus, the classroom with
the most Box Tops wins a pizza party!!!
**Remind your child to read and take AR tests! Prizes are awarded as they
reach different point levels, names display their accomplishments in the
lunch room, and a top reader out of the fifth grade will be selected at the
end of the year based on AR points.
*Remember to check your child's planner and encourage them to bring their
books, assignments, and other study materials home. Working together, we
can help them be more successful at school.
