***If your child brings home homework and doesn't understand one of the
questions, just have them try their best. Understand that if the children
try
to do their homework, they receive a 100 for their effort. I will explain
what
they didn't understand in class the following day.

Please check Mrs. Reed's website for science/social studies and Mrs.
Duffy's website for language arts.

5-02 Homework policy
* Students are responsible for writing homework assignments in their
agenda
book each day. Parents should check it nightly.Students take their agenda
book
to each class and are expected to write down their assignments at that
time.

*All homework should be done neatly in pencil on regular sized paper.
Students
should not use pens or markers. (Unless it is directed to do so in the
directions)

*Homework should be brought in by students the morning it is due.
(Students
will not be permitted to call home for you to bring it to them. (An
exception would be made for a contest entry or project which must be
there by a specific time for judging.)

* Remember-all students will begin with a 100/A+ average in homework.
Every time your child forgets to turn in a homework assignment, 3 points
will
be deducted from that average. Homework counts as 10% of the final grade
in
each subject.

them
it is a priority. Reserve a quiet place for your child to work so it will
prevent any unnecessary distractions.
