Announcements for the week of October 23rd-27th
Thank you so much for your support!
If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns don't hesitate to share!

Zoo Field Trip: Our field trip is scheduled for next Tuesday (Oct. 31st). We will be leaving the school at approximately 9a. and returning around 1p. Students must return to school on the bus. They will not be allowed to be checked out from the zoo. Please make sure you send a lunch in a disposable bag with a handle so it's easier for them to carry and them dispose of. If you signed up to attend the field trip please let me know if you don't want to chaperone otherwise I will assume you do and assign you students.  All parents are welcome to come. Please make sure you return all signed permission slips and money no later than Thursday (Oct. 26th) If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks! Thanks!
Math Work: As we continue with Eureka math. They have started to include extra work for students to use for practice. It is not necessary for them to complete all of this work in class. If you would like for your child to have additional work to practice with they can complete it and keep it at home. I only require them to do a portion of the problem set sheet in class. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks!
Homework: I have only had 4 requests for student homework packets. After October those students are the only ones who will receive the paper packet. If you would like for your child to still receive the paper homework packets in addition to i-Ready and Smarty Ants computer programs, please let me know. Remember, as a result of our change, homework packets no longer need to be turned in. If you have any trouble accessing the computerized systems, let me know so I can report them to our IT person. Thanks!
Smarty Ants & iReady: Information on how to access Smarty Ants and iReady has been sent. We are working to correct the few issues I have received. Make sure you are using a desktop or laptop computer not a tablet or your phone. You can also download the Smarty Ants app onto your iPad if you are having problems. We are working hard to resolve the issues you have reported to me. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Box Tops: Please send in any box tops you may have at school. You can also enlist the help of friends and family members to donate box tops. This helps us to replace and purchase things for our classroom we desperately need. Thank you!
