I am the newest employee of Memphis Light, Gas and Water and they have asked me
to find out the most effective means of generating electricity for the City of
Memphis and all of its residents. I am contracting your consulting firms'
services to help me better understand what is out there. Your group will
consist of an electrical engineer, an environmental research analyst, an
electrical safety inspector, and an alternative power plant executive officer.
Each firm will be assigned an alternative form of energy to present. I
understand the basics of electricity (I am a physics geek after all), but I
just don't get how the electricity is generated and how it powers all that
stuff in my house. I need your help so my new employer doesn't think twice
about having hired me.
