Task

Ok, enough of the hokey stuff!  What do I have to do for the grade?  Glad 
you asked!  You are researching the current energy source used by our 
power company and what other forms of energy are out there.  You are 
going to tell me through your presentation how electricity is generated 
from that power source, how it gets to the school, and an alternative way 
of generating electricity via your alternative energy source.  Each person 
in the group (assigned by me) will take on one of the four roles and 
complete the tasks for that role.  The final products of this project will be 
a brochure telling me about the importance and benefits of energy 
conservation and of naturally producing electricity.  You will also create a 
PowerPoint presentation that you will present in class basically showing 
me the results of your hard work.  It is one group presentation, not 4  
individual presentations, so I suggest you have one person in charge of 
compiling all of your individual areas.  You will present your findings in 
class next week.
