GREAT YEAR........lots of cool stuff going on in RCS MUSIC! General music
classes are busy studying music history, creating original compositions,
learning how to read and play rhythms, singing seasonal songs, and playing a
variety of instruments. Never a dull moment!
RCS SINGERS will be performing on Veteran's Day for the local observance.
Please come Nov. 11th at 11 a.m. to support the students, and remember the
Veterans who have served our country. What an amazing teaching opportunity
for our students!
Don't miss our Fine Arts Dept. Christmas Drama and Musical this year. Mark
your calendars for December 10th and 11th at 6:45 p.m. as RCS Singers, Drama,
and Band present "North Pole Radio Hour"
TICKETS will go on sale after Thanksgiving for $3 each. DON'T MISS THIS!
School day performances will be on December 8th-10th.
Music class will be a combination of interactive learning activities
including listening, singing, moving, playing instruments, performing, and
using computers and technology. The mission of all music classes, K-8, is
to create interest in and understanding of music in our world...and to
discover the JOY OF MUSIC!
