I am married to Daniel Christian, and we live in Rogersville. We were
married in June 2004 and recently celebrated our 5th year anniversary. We
are also expecting a new addition to our family in September. It's a girl! I
enjoy spending time with my family, riding motorcycles, and swimming.
I graduated in 2000 from Cherokee High School with high honors . I
graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tusculum College in 2004 with a B.A. in
Elementary Education. I also received the Senior Honor Key for Elementary
Education my Senior Year. Since I have joined the RCS team, I have over 37
hours of traiing with the ETSU "Make a Difference Project," and I am now an
active member of the Functional Behavior Assessment team here at school. In
addition, I attended and completed the Autism TRIAD training thru Vanderbilt
in Nashville.
I am so excited to be in the classroom! This will be my sixthth year at
Rogersville City School, and my fourth year teaching 3rd grade. I am
excited. In any placement, I feel so priviliged to be a part of such a
wonderful team of teachers. All in all, I KNOW THAT THIS WILL BE AN AWESOME
YEAR!!!!
My mission for the class is to make learning fun and exciting. I feel that
if a child can use all five senses to work towards a goal, then they can
definitely achieve it. I want to challenge the students to think and
encourage them to imagine!
