Mrs. Gibson’s weekly note
• Please send items for our soldiers by this Friday, December 4.
• Christmas Breakfast-the last day before our Christmas break, I plan a
breakfast. This will be on December 18th. Each child is asked to bring one
item to share with the class. If you have a preference, please write it on
this note so I can put you down for it; children are famous for signing their
parents up for difficult items.

• We will be starting “Christmas Around the World” later this week.
Most research will be completed at school, but other items may be brought in
for extra credit. These will be presented on December 15th-17th. They will
bring a separate paper home explaining it in more detail later this week.
• Starting this week, if your child does not have their homework, turn
in their reading log completed and signed on Friday or complete their daily
homework log, I will be taking play time. We are almost halfway through the
year and it is my job to prepare them for 4th grade. Being responsible and
prepared are very important skills that we will focus more on for the
remainder of the year. You can assist us in this by checking their folder
each night and making sure they complete the log at the bottom of this page.
