Reading-we will be reading several Christmas stories this week in whole group
time as well as center time. There will not be a reading test this week,
just their independent testing on Reading Counts.
Spelling-we will not have a regular spelling lesson this week.
English-we are continuing our study of adjectives and adverbs.
Math-we will be reviewing addition, subtraction and story problems this week
with Christmas math. I will not be sending any math home, unless they do not
complete their class work or have corrections to make.
Social Studies-the students will present their “Christmas Around the World”
projects on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. Notes were sent
home last week stating your child’s date.
